How to participate:   Enter by phoning 0333 207 5333 when prompted to do so by the presenter.

On two occasions on the programme Listeners will take part in ‘Minute to Win It’, where five questions will be asked with one minute on the clock. For every question answered correctly, the listener will win £50 up to a total of £250.

Additional Information: Standard call rates apply, there is no cap on entry, and a phone line will be selected at random from those who call in.

The first qualifying entrant to be selected will be offered the chance to take part in the competition.

Winners must leave their name and contact details for a call back to arrange collection of the prize.

Lines open when prompted by the presenter and close when directed by the presenter. A caller will be chosen at random to take part in the competition.

Additional Competition Terms and Conditions (Rules)

The Prize Description:   On Saturday 31^st January 2026, STV is offering two (2) listeners the chance to win a prize of up to £250.  

How to participate:  

• The presenter will invite listeners to phone in for the chance to take part in ‘Minute to Win It’, a one-minute long football quiz on air.
• The telephone lines will open and close times will be stated on air by the presenter.
• Listeners must contact STV Radio at 0333 207 5333 when lines are announced open for the chance to take part
• Qualifying Entrants will have their call pre-recorded to play later in the show.
• The winning call will be broadcast on air
• The winner’s first name and city or region will be announced on air

Competition Period : Two intervals to be chosen at random by the presenter on Saturday 31^ST January 2026, between 2pm and 6pm.

Eligibility: Entrants must be aged 18 or over and live in Scotland.

Exclusions:   STV, Lime.Online and the prize promoter employees and immediate family members, any live-in partners, and anyone professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration are excluded from entry.

Additional Terms and Conditions:   The prize is not transferrable. The prize may not be exchange, it cannot be replaced if lost, and it is not transferable or refundable.

Winner Selection and Notification:

• The winner(s) will be the qualifying entrant who answers the questions correctly ‘on air’. For every question answered correctly, they will win £50 up to a total of £250 per set of questions.
• The winner will be notified immediately ‘on air’ if they have won.
• STV reserves the right to request proof of eligibility. Failure to provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate eligibility will result in disqualification and STV, at its sole discretion, may select a new winner.  
• The amount won (up to £250 per competition round) will be sent by bank transfer or by cheque, as selected by the winner. The winner must supply their bank account details by email to enable the bank transfer, or home address for a cheque

Redeeming the Prize

• The winner must contact competitions@stv.tv to claim their prize, confirm payment method, and provide sufficient information to enable delivery of the prize.
