How to participate:   Enter by phoning 0333 207 5333

 

Listeners will need to answer a question correctly by phoning into the radio show at a time prompted ‘on air’ by the presenter for that day’s competition.

 

Competition Period: Daily during Breakfast (Monday to Friday, 6am – 10am) for 5 days

5 x competitions running on weekdays between 2^nd February and 6^th February 2026 (5 days)

 

The Prize Description: Tickets to Party at the Palace on either the 8^th or 9^th of August. Ticket will be given in form of an e-ticket and emailed to the winners.

 

Eligibility:

18+, Scottish residents only

 

Additional Information:

Calls cost standard network rate, there is no cap on entry, and a phone line will be selected at random from those who call in.

The first qualifying entrant to be selected with the correct answer will win the prize.

Winners must leave their name and contact details for a call back to arrange the prize.

 

Material Terms:

5 x pairs of tickets to be won to Party at the Palace taking place at Linlithgow Palace on 8^th and 9^th August 2026. The tickets are valid for the full weekend, which starts at 12.30pm on 8^th August and ends at 10.30pm on 9^th August. Each winner will be given one pair of tickets. Prize does not include accommodation.

Lines will open when prompted by the presenter on air.

Additional Competition Terms and Conditions (Rules)

 

The Prize Description:

Each day, over a 5-weekday period, STV is offering one (1) listener the chance to win a prize comprising: 1 pair of tickets to Party at the Palace on the 8^th and 9^th of August.

 

How to participate:  

• The presenter will set a question and invite listeners to phone in and answer.
• The telephone lines will open and close times will be stated on air by the presenter.
• Listeners must contact STV Radio at [0333 207 5333] when lines are open and answer the question correctly.
• Entrants may be put through to the radio programme to provide their answer, or calls will be recorded to be played out at a later date.
• The first correct entry will be eligible to win the prize subject to satisfying the entry criteria.
• The winning call will be broadcast on air
• The winner’s first name and city/region will be announced on air.

 

Competition Period : There are 5 x individual competitions. Each weekday, over a period of five days, the prize will open and close on the day and time announced by the presenter live on air.

 

Eligibility:

• Entrants must be aged 18 or over and live in Scotland.

 

Availability

• Each day, over a period of five weekdays, one prize will be available
• Tickets are for Party at the Palace, taking place on 8^th and 9^th August 2026 and are not transferrable to any other event.

 

Exclusions

• Travel to and from the event is not included.
• Accommodation is not included.
• STV, Party at the Palace and the prize promoter employees and immediate family members, any live-in partners, and anyone professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration are excluded from entry.

 

Additional Terms and Conditions

• The prize is not transferrable. The prize may not be exchanged for cash, it cannot be replaced if lost, and it is not transferable or refundable.

 

Winner Selection and Notification:

• The winner will be the first qualifying entrant who answers the question correctly ‘on air’.
• The winner will be notified immediately ‘on air’ if they have won.
• STV reserves the right to request proof of eligibility. Failure to provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate eligibility will result in disqualification and STV, at its sole discretion, may select a new winner.  
• The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize by email to competitions@stv.tv within 24 hours of being awarded the prize.
• An e-ticket will be sent by email to the winners.

 

Redeeming the Prize

• The winner will be sent an email containing e-tickets to the event
• In the event that the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances outside the control of the organiser, arrangements will be made to provide an alternative prize to the same value
