STV Radio has teamed up with Barrhead Travel to give you the chance to win the ultimate adults-only escape this Summer. All you need to do is tell who’s on board…!

 

You could set sail on a 7-night Comedy Fest Cruise on Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady, calling at Bruges, Amsterdam and Hamburg this August.

 

The cruise leaves from Portsmouth on 20th August, arriving back in port on the 27th August. You’ll explore canals, coffee shops and culture by day, then laugh along with a side-splitting lineup of comedy legends by night.

Prize 1: £500 to first caller to correctly identify one of the voices in the sound clip.

Prize 2: First caller to correctly identify all four voices in the sound clip, will win Comedy Fest Cruise, on board Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady – 20 August 2026 for 2 adults (over 18 only) for 7 nights departing from Southampton. Flights from Edinburgh to Southampton Airport. Booked with Barrhead Travel Service Limited (“Barrhead Travel”).

How to participate:

Listener should call 0333 207 5 333 when invited to phone in.

 

Every weekday at around 8.10am, 11.10am, 12.10pm, 2.10pm, and 4.10pm we will open the phone lines and answer a call at random.

 

The presenter(s) on-air will play a sound clip that contains 4 different voices each saying a single word.

 

Every contestant taken to air will have the opportunity to guess who the four voices are.

 

 

At the end of every call the presenter on-air will let listeners know how many voices they have guessed correctly.

 

If you are the first person to correctly identify any one of the voices you will win £500.

 

The first person to correctly identify all four voices will win the cruise.

Competition Period:

  • Starts 18th May 2026. Ends no later than 11th June 2026 (unless prize won earlier)
  • Competitions rounds are around the following times on weekdays until all 4 mystery voices have been identified: 8.10am, 11.10am, 12.10pm, 2.10pm, and 4.10pm.
  • The competition will begin on Monday 18th May 2026 and run until all 4 mystery voices have been identified, or until 11th June 2026. If no person has correctly identified all four voices by 11th June 2026, the winner of the cruise will be selected from random from the people who were first to identify any of the voices correctly.
  • The competition will run from Monday 18th May to 11th June 2026 (unless the prize is won earlier)
  • The weekday competition rounds will open and close on the day and time announced by the presenter live on air.
  • The cruise is on a set date (20 08 26 to 28 08 26). No alternative dates are available.
  • The cruise must be accepted and the booking must be confirmed with Barrhead Travel by 15th June 2026.
  • Insurance. It is the winner, and their nominated guest’s responsibility to take out travel insurance at their own cost (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to obtain
  • Once the winner accepts the prize, details to complete booking arrangements will be provided to the winner from STV by email.
  • By entering the competition, the winner (and their nominated guest) understands that STV will share their contact details with the Prize Provider for the sole purpose of delivering the prize.
  • Booking must be made directly with Barrhead Travel.
  • Booking is subject to both Barrhead Travel and Virgin Voyages terms and condition and their privacy notices (which will also be provided at the time of booking).
  • The winner must contact Barrhead Travel within by 15th June of being notified of winning the prize to book the prize.
  • At the time of booking, the winner must provide details of their guest, and any other information required by Barrhead Travel to honour the prize.
  • Once the prize is booked, no amendments can be made to the booking. The prize can only be used by the prize draw winner and their nominated guest who must travel together on the booking.
  • In the event that the prize is unavailable, arrangements will be made to provide an alternative prize selected by Barrhead Travel to the same value (£3,000).
  • STV and the prize provider (Barrhead Travel) accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize that are not specifically and expressly included in the prize description. All such costs shall be borne by the winner.
  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, the promoter and prize provider (Barrhead Travel) accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, death, costs, expense or disappointment (whether is contract, delict or otherwise) incurred or suffered by any entrant/winner or any third parties arising out of or in connection with the prize draw and/or from accepting and using the prize.   • The presenters will play a clip with 4 different voices and invite listeners to phone 0333 207 5 333 to play the game.
  • A contestant will be selected at random.
  • The presenters on-air will play the random caller the clip that contains the 4 different voices.
  • Every caller taken to air will get the chance to guess all 4 voices.
  • If a caller is the first to correctly identify any one of the mystery voices they will win £500.
  • The first contestant to correctly identify all 4 voices will win the cruise.
  • At the end of the call the presenter(s) on-air will let the contestant know how many voices they have correctly identified and whether they are the first person to guess correctly.
  • Each week the presenters will provide one extra additional on-air clue.
  • Entrants must be aged 18 or over and live in Scotland.
  • The winners’ nominated guest must be over 18.
  • The winner (and their nominated guest) must have a valid passport with more than six months left until expiry from the last date of the cruise (26 08 26).
  • Employees of the STV group of companies, or those associated with the operation or promotion of the competition. Any other person or employee professionally connected with the operation of the Competition or its administration, and immediate family members (including any live-in partners) are not eligible to enter.

Additional Terms and Conditions

  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-reroutable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative. The prize can only be used by the winner who must travel on the same booking together with their nominated guest. The prize may not be claimed on your behalf by a third party.
  • STV and the Prize Provider reserve the right to request proof of eligibility. Failure to provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate eligibility will result in disqualification (e.g. driver licence, passport, utility bill). STV, at its sole discretion, may select a new winner.
  • The winner may be notified by the presenter on air or otherwise by telephone or email whether they have won the competition.
  • The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize by email to competitions@stv.tv within 24 hours of being awarded the prizeSTV reserves the right to request proof of eligibility.
